I'm always trying to keep up with current events, news, arts and entertainment, sports, pop-culture etc. So I'm constantly reading a variety of newspapers, trade journals and magazines. |
| Favorite Music: |
Journey, Foo Fighters, Gnarls Barkley, MGMT, Hollywood Undead, Kings of Leon, Avenged Sevenfold |
| Favorite Movies: |
Alexander, Paradise Road, Oscar and Lucinda, The Man Who Cried, The Royal Tenenbaums, Son of the Bride |
| Favorite Activities/Interests: |
My free time is consumed by sports (tennis, golf, basketball, etc), concerts, and traveling. Throw in dinners, game nights and (more than) occasional party, and I'm happy. A quiet night consists of a home cooked dinner, a movie, and bottle of wine. |
| About Me: |
I love food, sports, music, fashion, and travel. I will try almost anything once and believe that if you aren’t going to go all out doing it, you may as well not waste your time.
I love to travel. The time I went to Argentina, I called the airline at 2am, packed a bag, and was at the airport by 10am. The time I was in Italy, I jumped out of a moving train when I realized that I was headed to the wrong city. The time I was in Laos, I trekked for 36 hours in the jungle looking for elephants, and all I found was their poop. It boggles my mind what kind of shenanigans we get ourselves into while traveling when our lives at home can be so uneventful.
I am an independent thinker. If it is really mainstream, I am likely to go out of my way to find an alternative. I don't own an iPod. I avoid drinking Starbucks. If a guy wears his collar popped, I will likely make fun of him, but only slightly less so than the guy wearing that blue blinky ear piece at the bar.
I am trying to get my MBA in the hope of someday pursuing a career in international development. If that doesn't work out for me, I will just volunteer teaching English in third-world countries. |
